There’s a lot of conversation around investing. Markets, returns, strategies. But some of the most important investments don’t show up on a statement.
They show up years later, in the lives people build.
At Flick Financial, we’ve always believed that financial planning is about more than numbers. It’s about people, families, and the future of the communities we’re part of. If that’s true, then one of the most meaningful places we can invest is in the next generation.
That’s what Beaver County Launch is all about.
This spring, we’re bringing together high school seniors from across Beaver County for something simple, but powerful. A conversation about money. Not just what to do with it, but how the decisions they make early on can shape everything that comes next.
Because the reality is, many students are stepping into adulthood without ever having been shown how money really works. They’re making decisions about loans, careers, spending, and saving without a clear understanding of the long-term impact. Those early choices, whether we realize it or not, can follow them for years.
Beaver County Launch is our way of stepping into that gap.
We’re grateful to have The Wright Promise as our headline sponsor, along with organizations like Job Training for Beaver County, PUSH Beaver County, and the Beaver County Intermediate Unit helping make this event possible.
We’re also honored to host Dale Alexander, Certified Financial Planner™ and author of The Talk (about money). His approach is engaging, practical, and designed to actually stick. His message is not about overwhelming students with information. It’s about helping them see what’s possible when they make thoughtful, informed decisions early.
But this event is bigger than one speaker or one morning.
It’s a reflection of what can happen when a community comes together around a shared goal. Preparing young people for financial life is something worth prioritizing. Because when students are equipped with the right mindset and tools, it doesn’t just change their individual future. It strengthens families, businesses, and the community as a whole.
For us, this isn’t separate from the work we do every day. It’s an extension of it.
For decades, Flick Financial has been built on relationships. Often starting with a simple introduction, growing into long-term trust, and continuing across generations. We’ve seen firsthand how financial guidance can shape not just one life, but entire families over time. Investing in students is part of that same mindset.
It’s thinking beyond today.
It’s believing that small moments of clarity can lead to better decisions down the road.
It’s choosing to be part of something that lasts.
We’re proud to be part of Beaver County Launch, and even more proud to be part of a community that cares about what comes next.
