Curtis B. Aiken, ChFC®
Partner, Investment Specialist
Curtis has been providing investment and insurance advice to families since 2004. He also had an interest in working with 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations which led him to assist with investment policy statements for endowments and managing assets for churches, schools, and fire departments.
In 2008, Curtis developed fee-based investment models to eliminate charging commissions to his clients, and he employed the models to manage assets for clients of other financial advisors as well. After working jointly with Kevin Flick for several years, Curtis joined the Flick Financial team in 2013 and later became a partner and co-owner with Dan Flick and Kevin Flick in 2016 when they established Flick Financial, LLC as an independent firm.
Today, Curtis focuses on advising individuals who are interested in using tools like donor-advised funds or family foundations to have a positive impact through perpetual giving. He still works with 501(c)(3) non-profits and enjoys helping business owners and pilots with their unique planning needs. He is licensed to sell life and health insurance in Pennsylvania, Florida, Michigan, Ohio, South Carolina, and West Virginia, and is registered to offer securities products in Pennsylvania, Arizona, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia.

Alan A. Flick
Alan began working with individuals and families to help them meet their financial goals in 2014. Prior to working as an advisor, Alan worked as a financial aid counselor at a local college where he saw a lack of financial education and planning amongst the students and parents preparing for college. This gave him a desire to educate people and work with them to design a plan to achieve their goals. Many of Alan’s clients are younger individuals and families who are just getting started in the planning process.
In addition to serving as an advisor, Alan is the insurance specialist for the firm. He conducts ongoing research on life and disability insurance and supplemental Medicare plans to make sure the team is aware of the nuances in the products currently being offered. Alan designs customized insurance solutions and provides options for clients to consider when a need for insurance is discovered.
Alan holds an master’s in higher education from Geneva College and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Malone College. He holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities registrations through Commonwealth Financial Network®. He is licensed to sell life and health insurance in Pennsylvania, Florida, Iowa, Maryland, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia, and Washington, DC, and is registered to offer security products in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Florida, Tennessee, Virginia, and Washington, DC.
